MSU BioEconomy Network

The MSU BioEconomy Network is an umbrella organization within MSU's Office of the Vice President for Research and Graduate Studies charged with coordinating MSU's efforts to promote Michigan's bioeconomy. Those growing efforts include research, policy and economic analysis, education, corporate and government collaborations, and commercialization.

In partnership with MSU Technologies and MSU Business-CONNECT and working with related units like MBI and the MSU Bioeconomy Institute in Holland, the BioEconomy Network provides a bridge between faculty and external collaborators to support MSU's role in expanding the bioeconomy. The BioEconomy Network is the university's point of contact for the DOE Great Lakes Bioenergy Research Center and works with faculty to develop multidisciplinary research proposals related to the bioeconomy.

As a member of the MSU BioEconomy Network, MBI advances bio-based technologies to market through de-risking, scale-up and collaborative commercialization processes.
