National Space Biomedical Research Institute
The National Space Biomedical Research Institute (NSBRI) is a unique, non-profit science institute established in 1997 by NASA through an open competition. The Institute is working on countermeasures to the health-related problems and physical and psychological challenges men and women will face on long-duration missions. The research consortium's primary objective is to ensure safe and productive human spaceflight.
NSBRI's integrated and coordinated activities engage academic, government and industry sectors, and emphasize achievement through excellence.
The NSBRI Industry Forum is a dynamic network of companies whose products, services and expertise overlap with the focus areas of the NSBRI science and technology teams. As a NSBRI Industry Forum member MBI partners and collaborates with NSBRI to enhance and accelerate product development for space and Earth-based applications of high national and global impact.
